Rumba Clave for Practice Pad - Fun Melodic Snare Drum Exercise

 Hello Drummers!

The last drum lesson was for beginners students. This practice pad exercise is for intermediate and advanced drum students. It´s about the famous Rumba Clave. To be exact, it´s the Rumba Clave 3:2. This very common Latin Feel Groove is mostly played by percussionists, played with cow bell, claves and all kinds of other percussion instruments. We as drummers of course can use that as well, not only for snare or practice pad, but for the whole set, too. The Play Along goes from 50 to 120 bpm. It really makes sense to start at 50 and pay attention to the hand technique before it gets faster.
